Pumpkin Patchin'

Autumn brings along a season of gratitude, fun festivals and a whole lot of pumpkin!

There is something about fall that puts me in a really good mood. I can picture my self sitting by a wood burning fireplace, wearing a chunky knit sweater, pumpkin spice late in hand, while a cider wood candle burns on the background. I can literally smell this scent as I type it.

In Miami, fall looks a little different. Here, the days are filled with 80 degree weather. Most of the locals wear summer clothes, while they sip on a cold drink and are probably sitting somewhere by the water.  Regardless of the weather, we take the time to celebrate and create some of the most amazing memories of the season.

For the past 4 years I have been visiting Bedner's Farm Fresh Market for their fall festival, and it never disappoints. They have everything from pony rides, to food trucks, petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, corn maze and of course, a huge pumpkin patch. Their festival takes place every weekend during the month of October at their Boyton Beach location. If you are from South Florida this is the place to go! I promise, you won't be disappointed.

We spent ours at the patch this weekend. Ate some yummy cider donuts and drank delicious freshly made lemonade.

5 Ways to Polish Your Outfit

Looking our best takes time and effort. Sometimes even when we try, we forget small details that make our outfits look unfinished and quite messy. I have put together the 5 things I do to make sure I always look well put together!

1. Do your nails: If your gel mani is coming off.. please take the time to remove it. Nothing looks messier than nails that are undone. I am a believer that a clear top coat looks better than chipping nail polish. Toe nails are non negotiable, you need to have them done!

2. Iron/steam your clothes: I used to be one of those people but I was probably in my early 20's then. Right now I do not go anywhere without steaming or ironing my outfit. Ironed clothes gives a high end finish to an outfit!

3. Use a lint roller: Nothing looks messier than an outfit full of small fiber or animal fur. I always make sure to use a lint roller specially if wearing black. Gives your outfit a cleaner look!

4. Apply lotion: I was always that girl who would go out without putting lotion on (embarrassing). Until I began to realize ashy elbows and knees are not cute!

5. Remove hair ties: I am still guilty of this. I have the habit of wearing a hair tie on my wrist! This makes my outfit look unfinished! If you are not going to exercise you should not wear your hair tie as an accessory. I have to keep reminding my self of this one!

Ps: I like to switch it up from time to time so here is a minimalistic look from early Spring!

Hope you guys enjoy it!!

Florals For Spring

Hi Ladies

Can you believe Spring is around the corner again. I am so ready to wear pretty colors and floral prints. I decided I would begin with the most beautiful dress on earth! Yes, I am kind of in love with this floral dress, so much that I can’t wait to wear it again! I got this dress at forever21 last summer. Paired it up with lace up sandals with a small block heel from Steve Madden and a mini bag from Zara! As we enter the spring season i am sure you'll be able to find tons of floral maxi dresses to wear to Sunday brunch!

Hope you guys like it! Can’t wait to hear what you guys think!

Edgy & Chic

Hi Ladies!

I am so excited to show you this edgy, yet chic look I am still so obsessed about. I felt so comfortable shooting this outfit, even my photographer noticed lol! I really felt like the cool girl on the block with this one!

Jeans are a staple piece on my wardrobe! I always seem to be wearing jeans, and that's because I do. In reality, I feel the most comfortable when I wear jeans.  Ever since I bought my first pair of Levis I fell in love and I must admit, I keep on going back for more. Lately, I have been getting my jeans at the Levis session in Macys.... I LOVE that they are always on sale!  When it comes to the fit, I tend to go for the regular skinny fit, sometimes I use extra skinny depending on the look I am going for. This specific pair is skinny and is of course on sale!

This tank top I also got at Macys (sorry guys, get used to me saying this, I tend to shop here a lot). This was actually my first time buying a top from the brand Freepeople, and I am so glad I did! I ended up getting two different colors. I am wearing an extra small as it did run a little big. However, I loved the lose fit. I added leather booties from Aldo  and a leather jacket to finalize my edgy look.

I accessorized with a simple black choker and the most beautiful moon necklace from Nikki E. Designs (now on sale).
